Feed the Mind School Sponsorship Drive
A little glimpse into one of our Dance for Joy Fundraisers…
In addition to hosting over 200 campers for several summers, we offer full-year school scholarships for some of the campers, made possible through sponsorships. As we approach the school year, our sponsorship drive is under way and we need your help to make it a success!
THE GOAL: This program has a current goal of helping 60 disadvantaged students from the Chateau area to receive fully paid tuition and books to attend the local parochial school. The students range from elementary through high school and have had a 97% passing rate in previous school years, with improvements each year. Sony, one of our first sponsored students, is now pursuing medical school and volunteers as a camp leader with us. We want to produce more success stories like Sony and we can do so with your commitment to this program.
THE NEED: A yearly commitment of $150 per student due by August 15, prior to each school year.
